Great site...well behaved pilots and total Jerks can find and fly here. 20 minutes south of Las Vegas. Lake Jean is a Dry Lake Bed that is in a natural bowl that protects it from South, East and west winds. However, winds from the North are strong and long lasting. You can climb the slope of the bowl and still glide back to the lake bed without problem. Great place to stop on road trips! Favorite place for local photographers to shoot hot cars and hotter models.
